"When he looks at me, the way he looks at me... He does not know, what I lack... Or - how - I am incomplete. He sees me, for what I - am, as I am. He's happy - to see me. Every time. Every day. Now, I can either save him... or let him die."

The shape of water.... ITS SO WEIRD. It has to be one of the weirdest movies out there. I still find it to be genius though. The story is about a mute girl who gets attached to a government found amphibian man held in captivity. Not going to spoil it but the movie gets weird. The movie is beautifully made. All aspects of the film is great. The set design is the best part, the set design is masterful, all the sets seem well hand crafted. The sound of the film is also good but I don't really remember it. The acting is amazing too, to fall into these strange characters is a tough task and I feel they accomplished their roles. The color of the film is extremely green, it feels like a swamp, it is usually green and everything almost feels dirty. The camera work is also great (I feel it still doesn't beat Blade Runner though). The amphibian man also looks great he feels and looks very real.
Over all you should see this movie. A lot of people do not like it cause it might be too weird. but I feel it is still a powerful movie, if you are deaf and use sign language this can be a movie that you can be connected to a character. The movie is brilliant.
